LINER NOTES :
"Shobo is a style of jazz.
Mostly it shows the fact that free jazz can be define at different level and also with machines and virtual instruments.
It's influenced by be-bop, freejazz, m-base, stretch music and jamaican ska.
The left hand of the piano can be read as stride piano but the main thing is the down-beat/on beat movement moving randomly with very simple chords like triads.
The drums is afro or straight.
The doublebass follows the piano with a two-feel, sometimes a walking.
Most of jazz players plays asymmetric bars,
bars changes don't need to be in time.
It can happen at every moments if it's felt in the music.
Most of jazz players respect the cycle.
That it's not needed for me.

I really hope that people will dance on it and be happy.
With this project, PEACE LOVE SHOBO, I want to express LOVE, HUMAN, NATURE. PEACE and not war, it will inspire a new generation of musicians and that's a gift to the world"
